ALLFLIGHT CARNIVAL CITY LOFT NEWS Just a quick newsletter from Allflight, we will be hosting the auction of the late Louis Botha from Stroomop Hokke on 24 September 2009. Oom Louis was never shy to purchase some if not the best birds on offer at Sun City for enormous amounts of money. He won the motor car at the SANPO National Loft Western Cape and had the best bird at Allflight till the final hot spot at one stage. The international pigeons purchased at Sun City auctions as well as their offspring will be on offer on 24 September 2009. On Saturday 26 September 2009 and not 3 October 2009 we will be hosting the auction of the “Winter Race” pigeons here at Carnival City. Please have a look on the website www.allflite.co.za under the heading “Auctions” then click on “Carnival Winter 09” where you will find the “Catalogue”, Herman Sr. has put in a lot of work this past week to ensure that you know what you are buying on the auction. Telephone numbers are included for fanciers who decided not to give pedigrees or strains of their pigeons so please give the owner a call if you want to find out more about their birds. The auction will start at 9h30am as all of us want to go home and try and clock a winner from the races so please come early. Allflight will also be hosting the auction of pigeons from Herman Beverdam of the Netherlands on 24 October 2009, Herman Beverdam sent over of the best Beverdam Janssens pigeons from his breeding stud. He also included some offspring of pigeons purchased from the following fanciers, Flor Engels, G & C Koopman, Dirk & Louis van Dyck, Ad Schaerlaeckens, Louis Wouters and Gerhard & Bas Verkerk. This will be a rare opportunity for local fanciers to aquire some proven breeders and young stock pigeons from these great fanciers.
