I've heard of him, I've seen the man but have never really had a conversation with him until his recent Federated Board Beaufort West Yearling win. Henry Fransman has an easy manner about him which is going to lead to many fanciers respecting him and his birds. Outspoken he certainly is, especially about matters that concerns his beloved sport.

Racing in the NSHU since the 80's he has set the scene alight with a series of consistently outstanding performances, crowning the season with his excellent winning performance on the Young Bird Race.

The bird that did the trick is a small blue bar hen SAFB 2005 1626 Bred from his own family of which the base is Jansen/Baker. The loft setup is very professional and is indicative of his approach to the sport he loves so much. Nothing is left to chance, each race is carefully assessed and the candidate picked accordingly as is evidenced by his performances at the highest level.

Upon entering the loft I was impressed by the inmates. Here was no wild flapping birds. They all looked up and one could sense that the key here was intelligence, and that is what Henry wants - That is what needed to win Big Races. Upon being asked what his ambitions were - he said typically: To win more Board Races. It's not long in coming

Keep it up Henry!
