Things that fall apart.
Occasionally we switch on the TV to one of those home shopping channels
and there are actually some good deals for the viewers, but sometimes
we can't get to the remote fast enough to change the channel. One
day I did the exact same thing when I saw the advertisement of this
14-karat gold bracelet which I decided to order. On arrival it looked
just as beautiful as it had been on television. A little while later
I picked it up off the table where I left it a while earlier in
order to examine this beautiful piece of art. Upon examining it
this supposed to be masterpiece broke into pieces and I immediately
realized that to buy anything from just viewing it without touching
or handling an item you leave yourself open to purchasing something
of no value. This bracelet was beautiful on the outside but hollow
on the inside.
Maybe you've experienced this kind of disappointment in your life,
not with jewellery but with your relationships, your dreams or your
birds. It was beautiful for a while but then it just fell apart.
In other words, the new birds, products, advice or change in management
didn't last for long. Those disappointments should have made you
start searching for something that is both beautiful and solid gold
inside and out. Something that won't fall apart, something that
won't let you down and that search could be just what you need to
get right back on track.
I met an explorer at a well one day, a well where he stopped for
a drink on a hot day. Our conversation later revealed that this
man had been looking for short cuts and magic stuff from one top
flyer after another. Hi, but we're all looking aren't we?. His hopes
and his search just happened to be in the time that things started
to fall apart.
In a previous article ( Information War ) I mentioned the importance
of temperature, the temp when mixing medication and vitamins.
Temperature is one of the biggest contributory factors to your
success in pigeon racing and of course the loft temperature too.
I hope to help you in getting closer to make them win if you add
the following information to your program.
The body has an optimum temperature for the functioning of digestive
enzymes. Cold water temp. is much less than the prevailing temp,
sometimes quite close to zero, especially in the beginning of
the racing season.. If you give water at a temperature lower than
16 deg c, it will lower the effectiveness of the enzymes and put
stress on the digestive system, thus digesting less food. In fact
the food gets fermented and this produces bad smelling gases,
decays and forms toxins which are absorbed from the intestines
into the whole body. This spread of toxins can lead to the development
of various diseases.
I know what it’s like to pin your hopes on something that's
beautiful for a while, until it falls apart, but keep on searching
and watch that temperature.
