Shocking race weekend

This weekend the Federated Board had a shocking race from Hanover due to the weather conditions and it seems that the majority of the 12000 birds liberated will not see the inside of their loft again.

My personal feeling, in the view of the ANIMAL RIGHTS ACTIVIST focusing their attention on pigeon racing worldwide at the moment, is that the pigeon organizations and their management teams should pay much closer attention to liberation conditions, weather on route and other negative aspects which will affect our pigeons in their attempts to race home.

Just to add further substance to this article is that a fancier that took part in this race got a bird home with this letter tied to it's leg.

"I found bird underneath snow, it is cruel. Dont you love animals?"
